Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a full-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in North Liverpool area to starting ASAP until July 2024.

Milk Education are working with a primary school in the North Liverpool area. You will be supporting children with their learning and development in a year 3 class. You will also be expected to work with small groups of children with phonics and reading sessions and one to one support as and when required.

Your role & responsibilities:

Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration and self-esteem of pupils

Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson

Non-negotiables:

Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB,NCEF Etc.) or relevant experience within the last two years supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles

Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or a relevant setting are also welcome to apply!

  • Must have a level 2 qualification for this role and previously worked with children experience or similar.
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
  • Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
