YEAR 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT - GARSTANG

A primary school near Garstang is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support in their Year 3 class.

This is a one to one role, supporting a pupil with an EHCP.

The position is full time, working 5 days a week, 8.40am until 3.15pm, Monday to Friday and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Duties will include:

• Preparing activities and lessons
• Behaviour management
• Delivering engaging sessions, one to one
• Supervising and providing particular support and encouragement for the pupil
• Ensuring pupils safety and access to learning activities
• Supporting pupils with specialist needs and implementing IEPs
• Phonics

Teaching Assistant Key Information:

• Garstang area
• 5 days per week
• 13.50 per hour
• To start from ASAP

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification
• Experience and knowledge of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Behaviour management
• Adaptable and flexible to support the class teacher and to suit needs of pupils.
• Available full time for the duration of the assignment
