Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching AssistantLocation: Blackburn with Darwen Primary SchoolWorking Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.Start Date: ImmediateContract: Initially temporary, potential for permanent for the ideal candidate

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs
• Assist with classroom activities and ensure a nurturing learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and professionals to implement individualised education plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and empathetic approach towards supporting students
