Bedford College, are currently recruiting for a Course Manager of Technical and Modern Construction at our Bedford Campus.

Course Managers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students to:

• To prepare, deliver, assess and verify subject specialisms within the Technical and Modern courses to HNC level, in line with College policies and procedure as directed by the Head of Department.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, alongside the following qualifications:

• Level 6 qualification in Construction Management/ Civil Engineering.
• CAD/Digital Design Skills
• Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
• Safeguarding training
• Equality and Diversity training
• PGCE/CertEd or equivalent
• Assessor Award
• Verifier Award

Connolly Foundation Incentive Scheme

Successful candidates who will be entering the education sector directly from a relevant industry role will be eligible for a payment of £5,000 from The Connolly Foundation (subject to the rules of the scheme). Candidates who do not hold a teaching qualification will be employed as Trainee Lecturers and will have different terms and conditions applicable than those outlined in this advert, alongside being enrolled on a PGCE qualification.
