In the role of Assessor, your base will be the STEM Campus and the Green Energy Skills Centre. This is a site based role that requires you to move around the local areas where the apprentices are working to assess them in the workplace as and when required to keep up with there portfolio work.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Assessor in Construction. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.

The role will involve liaising with apprentices and their employers to ensure they each fully understand what the learner needs to complete the apprentice framework. You will carry out the assessment of practical activities in the workplace and guide the learner by setting targets to aid completion.

The successful candidate must:

Have completed a time served apprenticeship

Be qualified in plumbing and heating NVQ Levels 2 and 3

Hold a gas qualifications CCN1 - Core Domestic Gas Safety Criteria - Natural Gas

CENWAT - Domestic fired central heating and hot water boilers

UVHW - Installation and servicing of a domestic unvented hot water storage systems

Recent proof of gas safe registration within a company or private
