We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to our English and Maths department, who has a genuine passion for the subject and excellent subject knowledge. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a wide range of students aged from 16 to adults and be able to teach all levels of functional skills and GCSE.

The successful candidate will have high expectations of both academic achievement and student engagement, and be excellent at managing the progress of learners throughout their course programme.

The successful candidate will:
• Have a Degree Level qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Have a Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to achieve within a set period from appointment).
• Have experience at teaching in FE, including young people and adults is desirable
• Hold GCSE English & Math (A*-C)
