About the Role

Do you have the skills, drive and enthusiasm to make a difference in a college which focuses on the Creative Arts? Do you want to work for a college with over 30 years of teaching and learning experience within a friendly and professional team of specialist, creative teachers?

We are seeking someone with well-developed organisational, communication and team working skills. You will also be able to meet targets and deadlines. You will provide high-quality support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities within the Additional Learning Support Team. Teamwork and communication within an overall approach that values people will be of key importance.

This position will be based at our London campus which is situated at our brand new, purpose-built and designed 19,000 square feet campus on Commercial Road in London's East End. This campus is a creative hub for gaming, esports, music, media and computing.

You will provide a range of focused interventions for vulnerable, At Risk students with identified support needs through a variety of interactions including, 1-1 support, buddying and mentoring.

We offer extensive support to new staff through a thorough Induction programme and regular support and coaching throughout your first year.

About you

You will have experience in working or volunteering with Young People and/or Vulnerable Adults and if you have a Coaching / Mentoring /Teaching or Youth Work qualification this would be the icing on the cake! Please download the job description for more information.

Salary: £25,058 per annum, pro rata (approx actual salary, £22,455 for a full year where you would be expected to work 40 weeks)
