The Bedford Sixth Form, are currently recruiting for a Teacher of A Level Sociology and Criminology.

Teachers at The Bedford Sixth Form, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through helping students develop their skills and reach their maximum potential through the delivery of courses and contributing to the development of Sixth Form curriculum and student experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience of teaching Sociology/Criminology, alongside the following qualifications:
  • Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS)
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Certificate in Education or equivalent in line with the Statutory Instrument
  • Safeguarding Training

  • Part Time (0.6 FTE)
  • Directed attendance - Teachers working at The Bedford Sixth Form usually have an attendance requirement of 39 weeks. Details of this will be communicated ahead of each academic year. (pro rata)
