Humanities Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Humanities Teacher for a secondary school in Ellesmere Port!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher for a long term position starting from May through until October 2024. The role is covering a planned absence at the school and you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:30pm and will be required to attend department meetings which will be paid.

The role is to deliver a full time table for Geography across KS3 and KS4. The school have lesson plans and curriculum guidance however they are open to someone that can further develop these with a new creative approach to encourage pupil's development.

The school is a medium sized school with a recent OFSTED rating of 'Good' with an exception humanities department and supportive senior leaders. The school are open to teachers from M1 to UPS2.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

  • Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK with specialism in Humanities.
