We're seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join one of our large primary schools on a temporary to permanent contract, starting ASAP and extending into the next academic year. Located in North Leeds, you'll play a vital role in their vibrant school community.

Role Overview:

• Position: Learning Support Assistant (KS1)
• Duration: Temp to Perm
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: North Leeds
• Pay: £85-£100 per day (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and those facing learning difficulties.
• Foster a nurturing learning environment conducive to growth and progress.
• Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance phonics development.
• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate the academic and personal development of each student.
• Encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous, but not essential.
• Graduates or individuals with child-related degrees are encouraged to apply.
• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and provide individualised support.
• Phonics experience is desirable.
