Your new role
At Hays, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 1 students. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and has a strong commitment to student success. This is a temporary position until the end of the academic year with the possibility of the position going permanent at the end of the year.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 1 students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for teaching and learning.
