Lecturer in Media - Digital Content Production (0.6fte)

The School of Performance, Music and Media are looking for a highly motivated individual specialising in Digital Content Production to join their successful team.

You should have industry experience and your skillset should include photography, video production, audio production and podcasting, copy writing and editing, design and branding plus a thorough understanding of media theory.

You should have experience of using a range of different practical techniques relevant to the subject area and be proficient in editing for audio and video productions.

Due to the nature of the courses to be taught, it is important that the successful candidate has a thorough understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite. (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects)

You should be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of learners' work.

Ideally you will hold a current teaching qualification but mentoring and training will be available for those who haven't. You should also hold qualifications in your own discipline and have clear evidence of continued professional development.

The successful candidate will teach across multiple levels and courses within the department across our Watford and Hemel Hempstead Campuses. This is a part-time role working 22.2 hours per week.

You'll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you'll be actively encouraged to upskill.
