Join Our Team as a Safeguarding Manager at Abingdon and Witney College!

Are you a passionate safeguarding professional looking to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Safeguarding Manager to join our Student Services team.

As a key member of our Safeguarding team, you will promote a whole-college approach to student wellbeing, focusing on emotional health and safeguarding. You will manage and oversee the work of our Student Advisers, ensuring the delivery of a robust and effective safeguarding and mental health support service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support vulnerable students by identifying needs, coordinating support or referrals, and monitoring interventions.
  • Ensure timely access to effective mental health support.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of student information and safeguarding interventions.
  • Stay informed on current legislation and guidance related to safeguarding, and accurately disseminate this information.
We seek a professional with significant experience in safeguarding children and young people, ideally with a background in managing a safeguarding-focused team.
