Role Overview
A further education college in London is seeking an experienced and qualified Brickwork Lecturer to deliver high quality construction education to post 16 learners. You will play a key role in inspiring and supporting students to develop industry ready skills in brickwork through practical teaching, assessment, and curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, sector relevant brickwork lessons to vocational learners
• Plan and assess practical and theory sessions aligned to curriculum standards
• Monitor and support learner progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievement, and assessment
• Promote a positive learning environment that reflects the values of the college

Person Specification
We are looking for professionals with:

• Full NVQ occupational competence in Brickwork
• A1 Assessor s Award and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of teaching and assessment practice in a further education context
• Excellent communication skills and a learner centred approach
• Commitment to student achievement and inclusive teaching
