Primary Teacher - Supply Role

We are currently supporting a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the LS10 area of Leeds in their search for a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team on a supply basis. This school is known for its outstanding education, nurturing environment, and strong commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for all students.

As a class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and supporting engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm to the classroom, be able to inspire students, and work effectively with staff and parents to ensure the children thrive. Strong classroom management skills are essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal growth.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and engaging space for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching in primary education, ideally with Year 3 students.
• Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to creating a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's success.
