      KS4 English Teacher

      We are seeking a dedicated and engaging KS4 English Teacher to join a college in Peterlee on a supply basis from March 2nd until the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting learners and delivering high-quality English lessons.

      Hours:

      • Monday: 8:30am 4:30pm
      • Tuesday: 8:30am 4:30pm
      • Wednesday: 8:30am 2:30pm
      • Thursday: 8:30am 2:30pm
      • Friday: 8:30am 12:30pm

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Deliver effective and inspiring English lessons to KS4 learners
      • Plan and adapt resources to support a range of learning needs
      • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
      • Assess and track student progress in line with college policies
      • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider staff team

      Requirements:

      • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
      • Experience teaching English at KS4 level
      • Strong classroom management skills
      • Ability to engage and motivate learners
      • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
