      Location: Central Bedfordshire College - Dunstable Kingsway Campus

      Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £41,086 and £47,971 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 35 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher's pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

      Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year

      About the role:

      We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our Quality department at The Bedford College Group.

      As a Quality Manager, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
      • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement - Lead curriculum health checks, audits and performance monitoring to ensure compliance, drive sustainable improvement and deliver evidence-based recommendations across all departments, including T Level provision.
      • Standards, Compliance & Awarding Body Liaison - Act as Centre Nominee, managing communications with awarding bodies, overseeing IQA/EQA processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records and coordinating annual quality reviews.
      • Support, Training & Best Practice Development - Provide targeted support, mentoring and training to curriculum teams on quality processes, assessment standards and T Level requirements, promoting consistency and the sharing of best practice.
      • Collaboration, Reporting & Organisational Readiness - Work closely with cross-college teams to support self-assessment, curriculum improvement plans, inspection preparation (Ofsted/TEF/OfS) and produce clear reports for senior leadership.
      • Professional Conduct, Governance & Statutory Duties - Ensure quality procedures are current and consistently applied, investigate quality concerns, and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD requirements while undertaking additional duties as needed.
      About you:
      • Qualifications & Professional Foundation - Certificate in Education/PGCE (or equivalent), degree-level qualification, and strong general education including GCSE-level English and Maths.
      • Quality Assurance, T Level & Awarding Body Expertise - Proven FE or awarding-organisation experience with in-depth knowledge of T Level structures, assessment protocols, awarding-body requirements, internal verification and curriculum quality systems.
      • Performance Improvement & Data-Driven Practice- Demonstrated success improving standards, using data to inform action plans, conducting audits/self-assessment, writing evaluative reports and delivering measurable, sustainable quality improvements.
      • Leadership, Coaching & Stakeholder Engagement - Skilled in mentoring staff, sharing best practice, influencing curriculum teams, solving problems, managing competing priorities and maintaining professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.
      • Values, Safeguarding & Professional Conduct - Works in line with College values (Student Focus, High Performance, Respect, Openness, Honesty), committed to CPD, flexible across sites, and fully compliant with safeguarding, boundaries and health & safety expectations.
