      Temporary Health and Social Care Lecturer

      Location: Further Education setting
      Contract: Temporary
      Hours: 14.5 hours per week
      Working Days: Thursday and Friday (full days)

      We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis to deliver the NCFE Level 3 Technical Extended Diploma (T Level) in Health and Social Care.

      Role Overview

      The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality teaching to 16-18-year-old learners within a Further Education environment. You will deliver a range of Level 3 units, supporting learners to achieve both academic success and practical understanding of the sector.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Deliver teaching on the NCFE Level 3 Health and Social Care programme
      • Teach specific units including:
        • Health Education
        • Role of Play
        • Mental Health
        • Positive Behaviour
      • Plan lessons, assess learner work, and provide constructive feedback
      • Support learners' progress and maintain accurate records in line with college requirements

      Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

      • Proven experience delivering Level 3 NCFE Health and Social Care courses
      • Experience teaching 16-18 learners within a Further Education setting
      • Strong subject knowledge across the specified units
      • Ability to engage, motivate, and manage learners effectively

      Qualifications

      • A formal teaching qualification is not essential
      • Candidates must be experienced and confident in teaching at Level 3 within FE

      The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
