We're seeking enthusiastic Functional Skills Lecturers to deliver both English and Maths in our apprenticeship division, making a significant impact on our apprentices academic success and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Functional Skills English and Maths lessons in classes and 1-1.
• Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update curriculum content, ensuring it meets current educational standards.
• Stay updated with innovative teaching methodologies in both English and Maths.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progression.

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications in both English and Maths or related fields.
• Experience teaching Functional Skills to a diverse range of learners.
• Strong subject knowledge in both areas, with a comprehensive understanding of the Functional Skills curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Adaptability in teaching strategies to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Organisational skills to efficiently manage time and resources.
