Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Wakefield area who are seeking a committed and inspirational PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter Holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with strong behaviour-management skills and a passion for engaging students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education.

• Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork and resilience
• Planning, marking and assessment in line with school and DfE expectations
• Contributing to extracurricular sports clubs and fixtures
• Working collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school staff

• A welcoming and inclusive secondary school with strong leadership
• Excellent facilities for PE, including sports fields, indoor spaces and specialist equipment
• A focus on student welfare, academic progress and positive relationships

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and a proactive approach to supporting learners
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
