We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised Construction Instructor/Technician to join our thriving team at the Construction Skills Centre, Witney Campus. As our department continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated individual passionate about working in the education sector and supporting students in developing practical skills in electrical and plumbing areas.
Responsibilities: Main duties will include supporting the teachers in the workshop developing students' practical skills, supervising students, ordering materials, stock taking along with general duties to ensure the workshops are kept to a high standard. It is essential you are able to work within a team.
Essential Experience: - Qualified to a minimum of level 2 in a recognised construction trade, ideally in Plumbing or Electrical.
- Willing to support across all the trade areas we offer, these include; plumbing, electrical installation and wood trades to which training and support will be provided.
- Good communicator and enthusiastic about working in the Education sector.
- Confident and must enjoy working with students of all ages, especially those aged 16-18.
