Dyslexia Tutor (Part-Time) - Further Education

About the Role

A Further Education college in Longbridge, Birmingham is looking for an experienced Dyslexia Tutor to join their Learning Support team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners with specific learning difficulties and make a real impact on their progress and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small-group dyslexia support sessions
• Complete assessments and produce tailored support plans
• Work collaboratively with curriculum staff to ensure learners' needs are met
• Maintain accurate records of progress and interventions

Requirements

Level 7 Dyslexia/SpLD qualification Assessing qualification (e.g. APC or equivalent) Experience supporting learners within FE or a similar education setting Strong communication and organisational skills
