      37 hours per week

      Scale 6: £29,158 - £30,948 per annum

       

      We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Admissions & Enquiries Team Leader to provide day-to-day leadership of our Admissions & Enquiries Team and oversee the delivery of an efficient, professional and responsive front-line service.

      This is a varied and people-focused role where you will lead a busy team responsible for managing enquiries, supporting prospective learners through the application process, and delivering a welcoming front-of-house reception service. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless applicant journey and supporting the College’s student recruitment priorities.

      Working closely with colleagues across the College, including Marketing, Careers, Curriculum and MIS, you will help coordinate recruitment activity, monitor application progress and support the delivery of an effective applicant journey from first enquiry through to enrolment.

      Ideally, you will hold:

      • Level 3 Qualification in Administration or Customer Service/equivalent
      • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
      • Team leadership/management qualification at level 3 or above or willingness to work towards
      • Experience of supporting, motivating or supervising staff within an admissions, enquiries, customer service or educational environment

      Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

      • Leading the Admissions & Enquiries Team and supporting staff development and performance
      • Ensuring a high-quality customer service experience across reception, telephone, email and digital enquiry channels
      • Overseeing the processing of applications, interviews and offers to ensure timely and accurate communication with applicants
      • Monitoring enquiry and application activity and supporting follow-up activity to maximise conversion from application to enrolment
      • Working collaboratively with Marketing, Careers and Curriculum teams to support recruitment activity and applicant engagement
      • Reviewing and improving processes to ensure the admissions and enquiry service operates efficiently and effectively

       

      As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
