      Creating Great Futures.

At Croydon College Group our staff are passionate and committed to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.  We believe it is through our people that an excellent student experience will be delivered, and this will have a positive impact in our local community.  Our visions and values ensure that we put our students first and value our staff as our greatest asset.

The College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics teacher to deliver GCSE and A Level Mathematics within a Sixth Form environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Faculty to support high‑quality teaching and learning, contribute to cross‑curricular activity, and promote positive student outcomes in line with the ethos and values of Coulsdon Sixth Form College.

You will be committed to supporting learners aged 16–19, contributing to curriculum development, assessment and monitoring of student progress, and engaging fully in Faculty and College activities, including examinations, educational visits and student guidance. The role requires effective teamwork, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding, equality of opportunity and continuous professional development.

Applicants must hold a degree in Mathematics (or a degree in which Mathematics forms a significant part), or a Level 5 Subject Specialism Diploma with relevant teaching experience. A recognised teaching qualification is required, or a clear willingness to achieve one. You must have the ability and willingness to teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics, with flexibility to offer a second subject such as Science if required. Strong interpersonal, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with a proven or developing track record of effective teaching and a commitment to high academic standards.

Apart from our great location, our wonderful staff and positive culture, we also offer a range of other staff benefits, including generous annual leave and defined benefit pension schemes. We also value staff development and have 7 days a year planned for staff development, including elements of team development, socialisation and staff wellbeing.

If you are as passionate about making a difference, we look forward to receiving your application and joining our great college group.
