Permanent Northamptonshire £28,000 - £34,400 per annum

The college is seeking a passionate and supportive Foundation Learning Lecturer with experience in Animal Care to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Foundation Learning and Animal Care sessions to students with additional learning needs
• Develop learning support programmes and teaching materials tailored to individual student requirements
• Assess learners initial support needs and monitor ongoing progress
• Supervise and support a team of Learning Support Assistants
• Arrange and coordinate appropriate exam access arrangements and additional support
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates learners and supports achievement

What do you need?

• A minimum of Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a similar Foundation Learning or SEND-focused role
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with post-16 learners
• Evidence of successful classroom practice that motivates and engages students
