      £12,382.60 per annum (£40,725 FTE)

      11.25 hours (1.5 days per week)/52 weeks

      In the role of PTHP Access to HE Lecturer in Humanities you will predominantly be based at our Huddersfield site and your focus will be on delivering high quality lessons to our Access to HE students in your specialism of this nature. You may also have tutor responsibilities as part of this role.

      Your key responsibilities will be, not exhaustive:
      • Teaching students as required delivering a high-quality teaching and learning experience.
      • Managing the effective organisation of the course by the establishment of such syllabuses, schemes of work and any records as determined by the College.
      • Maintaining class registers, lists of students and records of their work and engage in such administrative work directly associated with students, ie; monitoring progress and marking of student work, recording on internal systems and working with the team to ensure quality standards are met.
      • Attending regular meetings, and promotional events for the college


      Ideally, you'll have a degree in your subject specialism (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in teaching. It's important that you're able to communicate effectively and engage with young people and to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
