About the role: We are currently seeking a Social Media Content Executive to join our Marketing and Digital department at The Bedford College Group
. As a Social Media Content Executive, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Content Strategy & Digital Engagement - Support and implement a structured social media strategy, using data and insights to drive engagement, audience growth and brand visibility.
- Creative Content Production - Lead the creation of high-quality visual and video content, including photography and short-form video, aligned with brand guidelines and targeted audiences.
- Social Media Management & Optimisation - Plan, schedule and manage content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), monitoring performance and optimising campaigns to maximise reach.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Campaign Delivery - Work closely with marketing, communications and wider teams to develop impactful content, support campaigns and showcase student life and achievements.
- Quality Assurance, Compliance & Community Management - Ensure content accuracy, GDPR and safeguarding compliance, manage online interactions professionally and maintain a positive digital presence.
About you: - Qualifications & Marketing Expertise - Degree-level education in marketing or a related field, supported by ongoing CPD and significant experience delivering impactful multi-channel campaigns.
- Campaign Management & Digital Strategy - Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, with strong skills in digital marketing, paid social, email marketing and CRM systems.
- Leadership, Project & Budget Management - Experience leading projects, managing budgets and supporting or supervising staff to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and to standard.
- Communication, Creativity & Stakeholder Engagement - Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, manage relationships and produce compelling content across platforms.
- Organisation, Professionalism & Flexibility - Highly organised and detail-focused, able to work to deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, travel across sites and uphold College values and professional standards.
