About the role:
Learning Support Coordinators process the data and administrative tasks needed to support the work of the Group Learning Support (GLS) team with our students, and are a vital role in making sure they can deliver the best service possible. Working as part of a team; sharing workloads and supporting each other's roles to ensure our students have the best experience possible.
Group Learning Support works with young people who face barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs and those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These posts provide an excellent opportunity for someone with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students and providing the administrative support needed in order to ensure that they can achieve.
Responsibilities include:
Permanent, Part-time opportunity (18.5hrs per week), Banbury and Bicester college
What do you need to be a successful Learning Support Coordinator at Activate Learning?
The ideal candidate will be resilient, solutions focused and able to multitask. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have good attention to detail. You will also possess the ability to respond to change positively.
We are looking for someone with administration experience, and previous experience of processing large amounts of data with great accuracy is desirable. A background in education and knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities would be an advantage.
