Sessional Lecturer - ESOL

The ESOL department under the School of Commercial, Creative and Professional Studies in Merton College has an excellent opportunity for an inspiring and ambitious individual to take on the role of Sessional Lecturer - ESOL (daytime and evening classes).

Within this role, you will teach ESOL across all levels to 16-18 and 19+ learners using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies that meet the needs of all learners. The role also includes providing language/literacy support to ESOL adult students.

Candidates for this role will have a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent teaching skills in ESOL across all levels. You will have experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations' standards and have current knowledge of curriculum changes and the implications for teaching and learning strategies.

Availability to work two evenings per week is a must.
