Exam invigilators

Hours: Casual (exam seasons throughout the year)

Base: Cambridge (Milton campus)

Salary: £11.44-£11.51 per hour (plus enhancement for annual leave)

Due to increasing student numbers and regular exam seasons CWA are recruiting for additional invigilators to join their team at all campuses. Invigilators are integral to the smooth running and integrity of exams and therefore have a direct impact on our learners ability to achieve their full potential through managing and fostering ideal exam conditions. Invigilators undertake a number of duties which include reading, scribing and supervision of exams.

We are looking for people who have a background working in education at all levels who have an understanding of the importance of outstanding exams practice, or who have previous experience in working in highly-regulated roles. If you haven't worked as an invigilator we will provide you with comprehensive training, development and support to enable you to be a great success.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving achievement and exams team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.

We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for curriculum staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time and paid for casual staff), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme. CWA focusses on staff well-being and utilises both internal and external resources, such as a well-being committee and access to a free and confidential counselling helpline as well as comprehensive training and development.
