About the role as a Faculty Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Faculty Operations Manager to join our team. 

The Faculty Operations Manager role will oversee and take responsibility for faculty operations related to student and academic matters, including registration, tracking, liaising with awarding bodies, student attendance, learning hours, and funding.

Managing staff planning and administration, including sickness, holiday planning, lesson observations, mandatory training, and inductions while ensuring compliance with Activate Learning's internal academic management, quality, and administration systems and procedures.

Full time, permanent opportunity that can be located at Reading campus with travel to other campuses.

What do you need to be successful as a Faculty Operations Manager?

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in improving and streamlining administrative support within our faculties. Working closely with group services colleagues, you will co-create processes, procedures, and systems to reduce bureaucracy, enhance communications, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Excel in motivating teams to high performance and engagement. Your role will involve setting objectives, reviewing progress, and identifying development needs to ensure continuous improvement.

Experience working in an FE environment is desirable, but not essential.
