The role of English and Maths Administrator is pivotal in supporting the effective delivery of English and Maths programs across all campuses of our College. This position involves providing efficient administration, registration, scheduling, and secure storage of English and Maths assessments and exams. The administrator will play a key role in supporting the quality assurance process, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing timely information to staff and students.

Experience Required:

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths, demonstrating a commitment to educational standards and requirements.
  • Administrative Proficiency: High-level experience using Microsoft Office packages, databases, and web technologies is essential for managing data and information effectively.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and managing projects, along with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities, is highly desirable for coordinating various aspects of English and Maths programs.
  • Data Analysis: Demonstrated experience in data analysis and report writing is essential for monitoring progress, evaluating outcomes, and supporting decision-making processes.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Experience working in teams across departments, particularly in Further or Higher Education settings, is advantageous for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential for preparing documents, reports, and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, including the ability to respond quickly and effectively to queries and requests, are essential for maintaining positive relationships with staff and students.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities are crucial for managing a heavy workload, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • IT Proficiency: Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office and databases, are essential for responding to new developments in technology and managing electronic systems effectively.
