Kingston College are now seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the ESOL team!

Working mainly with adult learners, you will assist with monitoring and managing the 3 termly ESOL enrolments. You will be involved in the induction and enrolment process, monitoring attendance, and attending College meetings as required. You will also work with the student support team to assist these students with wider college processes.

This is a variable hours post - working for 6 weeks per year (in two week blocks), in September, January and April.

This role would suit someone who is hardworking and flexible and can demonstrate confident and engaging interpersonal skills. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop pro-active relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills, with outstanding attention to detail, and be able to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines. We would also like you to have good general IT skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem solving.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
