This role is due to start late August/early September 2024. This role will be on a term-time-only contract with part-time hours to support candidates with a favourable work/life balance.

St Helens College and Knowsley Community College are looking to recruit highly skilled and experience Catering Assistants, to support with operating the catering operations service, across the College's catering outlets.

This role will mainly be based at the Town Centre Campus, in St Helens.

The days and hours you will be required to work are:

Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 15:00, Thursday & Friday: 08:00 – 14:30.

Your role will be to work within the food hall serving food and drink and carry out pot wash duties. This is an exciting role and an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly and lively atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will:

Have relevant experience of working within catering and hospitality setting
Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is preferable
Have the ability to work under your own initiative

Flexibility is essential, as the hours of work are variable including evenings and weekends.

Previous experience working in a similar role would be desirable but is not essential.
