Levelling up premium

In this position, Science Teacher, you may be eligible to apply for an additional payment of up to £6000 from the levelling up premium payment scheme. What do you need to be a successful Science Teacher at Activate Learning?

Successful candidates will possess an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree, ideally with some teaching experience. While we prefer applications from qualified teachers with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we are open to considering unqualified applicants who can inspire our learners and are willing to complete a teaching qualification.

Additionally, candidates must have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and, should demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and exemplify the attributes we cultivate in our learners.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and strong subject knowledge in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to student success and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in teaching science subjects as a Biology teacher, Chemistry teacher and/or Physics teacher.
