Year 4 Class Teacher - Primary School

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Until Summer 2026)
Pay: 140 - 240 per day (dependent on experience)

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Skelmersdale who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until the end of the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape pupils' academic and personal development during a key phase of KS2. The school are seeking a teacher who can engage learners, raise achievement, and bring creativity and structure to the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.

• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners, including SEND.

• Assess, track and report on pupil achievement and progress.

• Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring classroom atmosphere.

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues across KS2.

• Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations and whole-school activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.

• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to support all learners.
