About the role
Activate Learning is recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join our Group Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Group Marketing Business Partner and working closely with the Head of Marketing, this role provides hands-on support across a wide range of marketing activity, helping to deliver campaigns, content, events and digital activity across the group.
This is a varied and practical role, ideal for someone at the early stages of their marketing career who is keen to gain experience across multiple disciplines, including digital marketing, content creation, events, social media and basic design. You will work alongside experienced marketing professionals and provide additional capacity during busy recruitment and campaign periods.

This is a permanent, full-time role (37 hours per week), based at our Guildford campus, with some flexibility to support activity across the group as required.
What do you need to be successful as a Marketing Assistant at Activate Learning?
We are looking for a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in marketing and communications. You will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
You will enjoy working as part of a team, be willing to learn, and feel confident supporting colleagues with day-to-day marketing activity.
• GCSE English at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience of marketing administration or supporting marketing activity
• Experience of writing content for marketing or communications purposes
• An interest in digital marketing and content creation
• A proactive approach and willingness to develop new skills
Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
