We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support to learner/s for the duration of their course.About the role:As Learning Support Assistant, you will work as part of a team of LSAs. Your role will include:
- Support learners in class 1:1 or in small groups, working at a range of levels from entry level to L3 across all curriculum areas
- Use strategies to help students with reading, writing and maths skills
- Support students during their exams
- Keep careful records of all LSA support provided
To fulfil the role of Learning Support Assistant you will have:
- English & Maths level 2
- A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one a distinct advantage
- Good IT, numeracy, oral and written communication skills
- A sound understanding of the purpose of the Additional Learning Support function
