We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a group of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Lewisham. As a Finance Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the school(s), ensuring accurate financial management and compliance with policies and procedures. You will work closely with senior leaders and administrative teams, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the school environment.

• Managing financial records, budgets, and reports

• Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations

• Supporting budget planning and monitoring expenditure

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and school policies

• Liaising with staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders

• Inclusive, welcoming, and supportive school communities

• Strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and collaboration

• Clear structures in place with opportunities to learn and grow

• A professional environment where your contribution is valued

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience within a school or public sector setting is desirable, but not essential
