      Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
      Contract: Long-Term with Permanent Potential
      Start Date: Immediate and Spring 2026 Starts Available

      Rising Hope Education is proud to be working in close partnership with a highly regarded specialist SEN school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

      We are currently seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated, skilled, and supportive SEND team working with pupils who require highly personalised learning and care.

      This is a rare opportunity to secure a well-paid, long-term role within a specialist setting that prioritises staff development, pupil wellbeing, and professional excellence.

      The Role

      As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, supporting academic, emotional, and social development.

      You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values reflective practice, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Supporting pupils with complex SEND needs

      • Delivering structured learning and behaviour support

      • Implementing communication and sensory strategies

      • Supporting emotional regulation and engagement

      • Working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists

      • Supporting personal care when required, in line with policy

      Candidate Profile

      We are seeking professionals who demonstrate:

      • Experience in specialist SEN or complex needs settings

      • Strong understanding of ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and related needs

      • Calm, resilient, and consistent approach

      • High standards of professionalism and reliability

      • Genuine commitment to inclusive education

      • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development

      Applicants with backgrounds in special schools, residential care, mental health, or behaviour support are strongly encouraged to apply.

      Pay and Working Pattern

      • Daily Rate: 140 (PAYE)

      • Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm

      • Contract: Full-time, long-term
