Hours: Variable Hours £33.68 - £36.52 per hour (Qualified teaching rate)
£28.39 - £29.81 per hour (Unqualified teaching rate)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and industry-experienced individual to join our team as a Variable Hours Lecturer in Hairdressing & Barbering at our vibrant Truro campus.
This is an exciting opportunity to share your skills, knowledge, and creativity with our students, helping them develop the technical expertise and confidence they need to succeed in the industry.
About the role As a Lecturer in Hairdressing & Barbering, you will:
- Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based sessions to learners across a range of levels
- Support students to develop their technical skills and industry knowledge
- Create a positive, inclusive, and professional salon environment
- Provide guidance, feedback, and assessment to support student progress
- Bring current industry trends and techniques into your teaching
About you You'll be a creative and motivated professional who is ready to inspire others.
You will:
- Have strong, up-to-date hairdressing & barbering skills and industry experience
- Be passionate about supporting and developing learners
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be organised, adaptable, and able to engage a wide range of students
- Ideally hold (or be willing to work towards) a teaching qualification
