We are now seeking a Industry Engagement Manager to lead, strengthen, and expand our employer relationships - playing a pivotal role in apprenticeships, commercial training, work placements, and skills development.
💼 The role This is a senior, high-profile leadership role with real influence. You will:
- Lead and inspire a team of Industry Engagement Consultants and Apprenticeship Advisers
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with employers and key stakeholders
- Drive apprenticeship recruitment, commercial income, externally funded projects, and mandatory work placements
- Represent the College at regional events, employer forums, and sector networks
- Use labour market insight to influence curriculum development and future provision
You'll be central to strengthening the College's reputation as a trusted, high-performing partner for business.
🎯 What you'll be doing - Leading a results-driven Industry Engagement team
- Managing high-value employer relationships across priority sectors
- Supporting apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, commercial training, full time students and T-Levels
- Ensuring excellent employer and learner experiences
- Using CRM and data systems to track performance and impact
- Working collaboratively across the College to deliver employer-led solutions
👤 Who we're looking for You'll bring:
- Strong B2B commercial and partnership development experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver results
- Confidence working at senior and board level
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Drive, ambition, and a passion for education, skills, and economic growth
Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education is desirable - but commercial leadership and employer engagement expertise are essential.
💷 What we offer - Salary: £40,787 per annum
- Up to 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and College closure days
