The scope of your duties as a director will vary institution by institution, however, your role should be tailored specifically to work in line with the faculty you are placed under and also work towards the general good of the institution. However, it is also important to know that the overall purpose of this job is to provide strategic and operational leadership that will deliver effectively the institution’s mission. Among many others, your key responsibilities will include;

• Provide strong governance while working closely with other directors, administrators and other workers to actualize set standards in the university.
• Oversee day-to-day activities in other sectors in the institution.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the institution you seek to represent.
• You will also be involved in the welfare and needs of students in the university; however, this responsibility will be subject to whichever faculty you are directly working under.
• Perform any other duties that will be incident to this job description.
