Job description
  • West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds
  • 28 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
  • Maternity Cover until December 2024
  • Salary: £27,803 - £31,364 per annum (Actual Salary: £18,176 - £20,504 per annum)
We are looking for an Inclusive Learning Coordinator with established SEND experience to support our fantastic provision here at West Suffolk College. The successful applicant will be working as a member of a cross-college team - delivering effective support and services that underpin learning which enable students with barriers, to achieve success. For this role, you will be assisting with the costing of high needs support and liaison with local authorities to secure essential funding.

A confident understanding of SEN, learning support, and safeguarding/student welfare is impetrative in this post, with strong supporting communication skills and a sincere passion and commitment for the work that we do. Relevant qualifications in Learning Support, Line Management, or Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) would be desirable but not essential.
