  • Up to 28 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (days of work can be worked flexibly)

  • Salary: £30,295 per annum - £33,944 per annum (Actual Salary based on 28 hours per week - £22,989 per annum - £25,758 per annum )
Are you passionate about the art of hairdressing and eager to share your expertise with the next generation of professionals? We're seeking a dynamic Programme Tutor to join our team and contribute to the development of aspiring hairdressers.

This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same and the successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of managing a group of students within a classroom or cohort.

You will be responsible for delivering current skills, knowledge and behaviours that relate to the hairdressing industry. You will be responsible for students; coaching, mentoring, alongside assessing their competencies. You will work alongside employers and your colleagues to support the development of students as they prepare for final assessments relating to their qualifications.

You will be required to hold a Level 2 Diploma qualification, or equivalent in Hairdressing, some Barbering experience would be an advantage.

Desired qualifications would be a Level 3 in Hairdressing and/or an Assessors Award and AET/DET Teaching qualifications.

If you are new to the world of education, please don't worry as full training would be provided. Previous experience of coaching and mentoring others would be an advantage; however, we provide an in-depth induction and a structured development programme for you to become a qualified trainer/assessor.
