About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our Rosewarne campus, to join the Animal Management Department as a Study Programme Manager.
The role will involve teaching and assessment of both theory-based subjects and practical skills, from Level 1 to Level 3; also working closely with and supporting learners as a Personal Tutor.
As a Study Programme Manager, you will have full ownership of one of the courses offered, from interview to awards ceremony. You must have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this.
Enthusiasm, good teamwork and communication skills are essential for this fast-paced job. We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised and conscientious individual to work within our high achieving team.
Skills & Experience The successful applicant will need to be educated to level 5 in Animal Science/Animal Management or a closely related subject. You will need sound knowledge of a broad range of subject areas, plus a proven track record of practical experience within the animal industry. Knowledge on animal behaviour and training will be advantageous.
You will also hold, or be keen to work towards, an initial teaching qualification and a Level 3 Assessors qualification.
